Domestic Requirements You can now stay on a Full-board, Half-board or Self-Catering basis. Catering facilities are provided with fully equipped kitchen that includes an oven and microwave, fridge and freezer, dishwasher, plates and cutlery. ALL PARTIES NEED TO BRING DISHCLOTHES, ADDITIONAL TEA TOWELS AND DETERGENT FOR HAND WASHING UP.
The Group is responsible for keeping the Centre as clean and tidy as possible. The Caretaker will carry out a daily cleaning routine, which includes the toilets and wash basins. The kitchen and cooking utensils is the responsibility of the Group at all times during their stay, if self catering. They are also responsible for any damages to or loss of Centre property. If any damage is noticed during your stay, please report it to a member of Oxenwood staff. For schools and children/youth groups it is advisable to have a prepared packed lunch midday with a meal cooked at the Centre in the evening. Re- usable plastic drink containers are ideal for children to take out during the day. The nearby villages of Burbage, Shalbourne and Great Bedwyn have village shops and Post Offices and Burbage also has a garage for petrol. Supermarkets can be found in Marlborough, Pewsey and Hungerford. There are also public houses in the nearby villages. Sleeping accommodation is mainly bunk beds in dormitories, with some smaller rooms providing single beds. See details on accommodation. A blanket, bottom sheet, pillow and mattress are provided. ALL MEMBERS OF THE PARTY NEED TO BRING A PILLOWCASE AND SLEEPING BAG, SHEETS OR DUVET. |
